Counseling for Individuals, Couples, Adolescents and Young Adults

Life can throw us curves, roadblocks and even some bad storms.  As a result, we may feel discouraged, confused and stuck in place.  Are you currently struggling with something difficult in your life?  Does it feel almost impossible to cross the bridge and get to the other side? These issues could have been bothering you for a long time, maybe even since childhood.   Or some recent life event such as loss, grief, relationship changes or family issues could have made your life feel out of balance.

Counseling gives you the opportunity to think about your life---what works, what doesn’t and where and how you want to move forward.

I invite you to embrace the challenges that are holding you back and tap your courage.   I will listen, guide and support you as you start stepping over the bridge to a find a unique path that is headed in the direction that feels hopeful for you.    Once you start moving you will begin to know yourself better, focus on your goals, learn to identify your feelings and communicate your needs more effectively.  When you reach the other side of the bridge you will know that you are standing on more solid ground.   You will have developed a new life strategy for more hopeful and brighter tomorrows.

Courage to Face Life Challenges
Connection to Find a New Path

“Stepping onto a brand-new path is difficult, but not more difficult than remaining in a situation, which is not nurturing to the whole person.”
- Maya Angelou

"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen."
- Winston Churchill

“One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest. ”
- Maya Angelou

"Meanings are not determined by situations, but we determine ourselves by the meanings we give to situations."
- Alfred Adler

"Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy."
- Norman Vincent Peale
